The Venue
The overarching aesthetic at Sylvan Ridge Farm is rustic elegance. We honor our history as a farm and a camp, yet embrace our 21st century identity as the premier barn venue in the Delaware Highlands region. Here on our quiet mountainside you'll find the perfect backdrop for any gathering, with spaces suited for groups ranging from 10-170 people. No matter the size of the party, we never double-book, so the entire property will be yours exclusively for the duration of your wedding, event, or vacation stay.
Sylvan Ridge Farm's main event space is an innovative timber frame barn that combines traditional building techniques with contemporary, eco-conscious design elements. The lofty upper level is an elegant reception space for 50-170 seated guests, while the rustic lower level is suited for more intimate gatherings of 20-50.
Across the lawn from the event barn sits the fully restored 19th-century farmhouse. With 4-5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, it can accommodate 12 overnight guests. Functions for anywhere from 8-20+ guests can also make use of the various common areas that comprise the main floor, including a large covered porch.
The third and final structure at Sylvan Ridge Farm is the cottage, which sits on the foundation of what was once the property's carriage house. It has been meticulously renovated, and today serves as a staging area for bridal parties and a honeymoon suite/ private accommodation option for couples or small groups of 2-4.
